About Servants & Stewards

“His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’” -Matthew 25:23

Welcome!

We are glad you are here—you’re in a good place today! This website is designed to serve one purpose in many different ways—to help us live a life that honors and glorifies God.  My husband and I have been blessed with so many gifts from God and our hearts’ desire is to be good stewards over all He has given to us.  We hope this website can help you do the same! Whether you’re looking for support on a forum, suggestions on a topic or some Godly wisdom on a topic, we know you can find it here. We’d also love to hear from you—your story, your struggles, your lessons learned.  “As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.”  We know God has big plans for you, and we hope this website is a place for you to help navigate those plans in a way that honors Him.  May we live our lives to this end:

“[the kingdom of heaven will be like] a man going on a journey, who called his servants and entrusted his wealth to them.  To one he gave five bags of gold, to another two bags, and to another one bag, each according to his ability.  The man who received 5 bags of gold went at once and out his money to work and gained five bags more.  So also, the one with two bags of gold gained two more.  But the one who had received one bag of gold went off, dug a hole in the ground and hid his master’s money.”

“After a long time the master of those servants returned and settled accounts with them.  The man who had received five bags of gold brought the other five. ‘Master,’ he said, ‘you entrusted me with five bags of gold.  See, I have gained five more.’  His master replied, ‘well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’”

“The man with two bags of gold also came. ‘Master,’ he said, ‘you entrusted me with two bags of gold; see, I have gained two more.’”

“His master replied, ‘well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’”

“Then the man who had received one bag of gold came. ‘Master,’ he said, ‘I knew that you are a hard man, harvesting where you have not sown and gathering where you have not scattered seed. So I was afraid and went out and hid your gold in the ground. See, here is what belongs to you.’”

His master replied, ‘You wicked, lazy servant! So you knew that I harvest where I have not sown and gather where I have not scattered seed? Well then, you should have put my money on deposit with the bankers, so that when I returned I would have received it back with interest. So take the bag of gold from him and give it to the one who has ten bags. For whoever has will be given more, and they will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken away from them.’”

May we all be welcomed home with open arms and be given more!

Thanks for being here-we’d love to get your input on what helped and what can be better.

Running the Race

“But you, keep your head in all situations, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, discharge all the duties of your ministry.” 2 Timothy 4:5 Running, though typically thought of as a solo sport, has a strong community for a reason—it’s really hard. Even if you’re really fast (which I am not), do short…

Peace in the Storm

For God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, of love, and of a sound mind.” 2 Timothy 1:7 Around the world, and across continents, it is clear—we are in the midst of a storm.  The fear and panic that most humans are experiencing right now comes in many waves—for our…
